The firm MOTILAL DULICHAND was established as a family concern in 1950 and was engaged in trading. In 1964 the company went into the manufacturing of cotton/synthetic narrow fabrics and by 1980’s developed a very wide range of products. Development being the single minded objective of the company lead to modernization of the organization necessitating the import of latest hi-tech machinery for the manufacture of quality goods. Establishing its lead to meet the growing demand, expansion continued, in that 2 associate concerns were floated SPARK FIBERS in the year 1970 and FIBER LINKS in the year 1984 as partnership firms.

Growth continued and in 1989 MOTILAL DULICHAND was converted into a private limited company

Feeling the need to have their own dyeing & finishing facility for achieving better quality & shade matching and taking a step towards backward integration, a company named KANPUR TEXEL (P) LIMITED was set up in 1995 as a Dyeing Unit. The company's products had achieved good market recognition because of their quality. At this stage, feeling the need to have greater international exposure, a 100% Export Oriented Unit (100% EOU) was setup in the year 2002 as Unit-II.

Over a period of time, it was felt that to have a better market awareness and exposure, there should be a full fledged marketing set up in Delhi. Accordingly in the year 2000, a spacious office was purchased and set up in Delhi which is headed by the VICE PRESIDENT (MARKETING) who looks after the entire marketing (including exports) and is responsible for market analysis and future projects.

MOTILAL DULICHAND (P) LTD. started an exercise for ISO certification in the year 2002 and subsequently in the year 2003, the company was successful in obtaining ISO 9001:2000 Certificate.

 

The organization carries out continual improvement of the system through use of Quality Policy, Quality Objective, Audit Results, Analysis of Data, Corrective & Preventive Action and Management Review under guidance of TOP MANAGEMENT which consists of PRESIDENT, VICE PRESIDENT (MARKETING), VICE PRESIDENT (FINANCE) and DIRECTOR (TECHNICAL).

TOP MANAGEMENT is well assisted by GENERAL MANAGER/ASTT. GENERAL MANAGER, SENIOR MANAGERS & MANAGERS working as HoD of their respective departments.
 

At present the company has an infrastructure to manufacture a very wide range of narrow fabrics on state of art braiding, knitting, weaving and twisting machines using all types of raw material like yarns of COTTON, JUTE, FLAX (LINEN), NYLON, POLYPROPYLENE, POLYESTER & ARAMID etc. The company also has a fully equipped laboratory and research & development center where many import substitutes have been successfully developed. Research aimed at betterment of quality with reduction in cost & innovation in the existing product range continues unabated.
